airport express not appearing on iPhone, macbook pro

My airport express airplay is appearing on iTunes (macbook pro with El Capitan) but it does not appear on my iPhone (6s plus with latest update iOS 10.0.2). I have an older iPhone 5c (iOS 9.3.5) and the airplay does appear on that iPhone. Not sure why I can't see it on my main iPhone, also can't see it on macbook pro on airplay option on top menu bar near wifi single display and clock are located. On macbook pro if I open iTunes it does appear via the iTunes program. I have restarted all my routers, modem, computer and the phone, still no luck. Any suggestions for finding my airplay?
